Ink painting.  The winding mountain paths are covered in snow.  Two donkeys carrying rice and firewood are trudging forward as their groom follows in limping gait, his waist, bent, his hands retracted into long sleeves and cupped in front of the mouth for warmth.  He suffers bitterly from the cold, as do the barren branches which droop downward in the bleak wintry landscape.  The entire painting is characterized by simple, unadorned but vigorous brushwork, the composition is abbreviated and lucid, without the slightest trace of unnecessary detail.
