Tang Dynasty –
(618 – 907A.D)
Tang Dynasty is the second
great dynasty of Chinese history. The culture and the arts flourished.
Painting style was elegant, reflecting the general prosperity of the
golden age of Chinese ancient society. Tang painting reflected a more
relax style, formal lines were replaced by free flowing contours.
The important painters of Tang dynasty are Yan Liben, Wu Daozi, Han Gan,
Zhou Wenduan, Zhao Yan.
